History

North Oaks senior community has been serving seniors for more than 20 years and continues to be the only full-service senior living community in the Pikesville/Owings Mills area of Baltimore County, Maryland. Located on eight-and-a-half wooded acres in the northwest part of the county, the community is a Pikesville landmark. In the 19th century, the property was the site of the estate of Baltimore-area philanthropist Thomas Wilson, who enjoyed the panoramic views offered by this highest point in Baltimore County. The estate later became a retreat for mothers and children of the inner city, providing them with a place to enjoy open spaces and fresh country air.

North Oaks is operated by Life Care Services, an industry leader with more than 40 years of experience in planning, developing and managing senior living communities across the nation. North Oaks is owned by the North Oaks Real Estate Partnership.
